Raised
in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, Ann pursued a career
as a nurse and graduated from Fitchburg State College with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She primarily worked
in various ICUs for 30 years. Showing dedication to her
area of expertise, she earned both her adult Critical Care
RN and Cardiac Surgery specialty certificates.
Seeking
challenges outside of the workplace, Ann obtained her private
and commercial pilot licenses, in both single and multiengine
airplanes.
Presently
keeping her feet on the ground, she travels, hikes, and
climbs mountains whenever possible. Conquering all 48 summits
in the White Mountains of NH which are above 4000 feet in
elevation, she is a member of the AMC's 4000-Footer club.
Photography, birding, and cooking are her other favorite
hobbies.
Ann
currently lives in Rhode Island with her husband, Wayne,
and her rescue dog.
